Assistant Saline County Attorney Brock Abbey files to run for county attorney – Salina Post

Brock Abbey, an assistant Saline County attorney, has filed to run for County Attorney in the upcoming Republican primary election.
He will face Jeff Ebel in the Republican primary.
Abbey is a career prosecutor who served as Sherman County Attorney before joining the Saline County Attorney’s Office seven years ago.
While in law school, Abbey was selected by merit and participated in an externship clerkship in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Abbey graduated from Washburn University School of Law with Dean’s Honors and in the top 15 percent of his class.
Before law school, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where Abbey was both vice-chairman and chairman of the university’s chapter of College Republicans.
Abbey and his wife, Brooke, reside in Salina with their two children.
