MONTCLAIR, NJ – A local minority women’s group has pitched in to help feed healthcare workers at Hackensack Meridian Health – Mountainside Medical Center.

On April 13, Montclair Drifters, Inc., delivered 40 hot lunches to the staff in the hospital.  The lunches were individually packaged and consisted of a choice of vegetable or turkey lasagna, a tossed salad, Italian bread, bottled drinks, and assorted cookies.

“This is a proud Drifter moment when we can support our local healthcare workers in the Mountainside Hospital ICU by providing meals prepared by Wood Legacy Productions, a local minority and female-owned business based in Montclair” said, Jamelle R. Straker, President of Montclair Drifters, Inc.
