President CC Minton Leaving Stevenson Moses Boxing for Life – Patch.com

In a recent communication to the Stevenson Moses Boxing For Life Corp, President CC Minton announced that she has decided to leave the Non Profit at the end of her term to pursue other personal and professional obligations.
CC Minton, President said: “I have been with Stevenson Moses Boxing For Life Corp since 2018 and have hugely enjoyed my time leading this organization. However, I do believe it is time to move to the next stage of my career. I leave the organization operationally strong at an extremely exciting time in its growth and development. I am excited about the Board of Directors accomplishments under my leadership, the progress the whole team has made and could not have done so without the teamwork of everyone involved.
Gregory Burrus Advisory Board Member noted that under CC Mintons’ guidance, a number of noted successful organizational accomplishments.
- The establishment of the first Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life Corporation website.
- Initiating numerous press announcements about the organization activities and
- establishment of the fan club for ticket sales for Top Rank Madison Square Garden and
- the Prudential Center Boxing events.
- Helping produce the press conference and dinner with the Jersey City Indian community for Olypian boxer Vikas Krishan.
- Producing the first periodic newsletter communication for the Stevenson Moses Boxing For Life Corp fan base.
- Setting up and participating in the Shakur Stevenson Key to the Essex County day and
- Newark’s Mayor Baraka Welcome Home World Champion Boxer Shakur Stevenson event.
- Join in the following community days of service at Westside High School, the Bethany Center for Champions and at the Edison YMCA.
- Creation, planning and development of the inaugural 2018 Ringside for a Cause Benefit at the Wilshire Grand Hotel and the 2019 Ringside for a Cause Benefit in Glenridge, NJ.
- Participation and moderation in two Newark Public Library 2020 Black History Celebrations! 6th Annual BlackLivesMatter – Newark Panel Discussion on Sports & Activism and A Conversation about Sports and Community Activism.

CC Minton Board President’s last day of service was March 31, 2020 and stated: “Thank you for the opportunity to serve and I am very confident that Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life Corp will continue to deliver value to the community and wish all much success in the future.”
