Tedesco: 42 Presumptive Positive Cases of COVID-19 Identified in Bergen County
Hackensack, N.J. – Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco has announced that there are 42 “presumptive positive” cases of COVID-19 identified in the County by the New Jersey Department of Health as of yesterday, Sunday, March 15th.
The case count is 11 highers than on Saturday, when Tedesco announced the county has 31 presumptive positive cases of coronavirus. The county has had one fatality. On Sunday, the County Executive said that the county can expect stricter rules and a possible self-quarantine, according to the Bergen Record. On Friday, Tedesco held an evening press conference and announced a supplemental executive order closing movie theaters, public theaters, and performance halls. Last week, Tedesco declared a state of emergency and ordered schools to close and transition to online learning until further notice.

Paramus: 1
Ridgewood: 2
Teaneck: 16
Wood-Ridge: 1
