Writing Group

An informal group of writers share their work at 7 p.m. Monday, March 2. All experience levels and genres welcome.

Gardening Group

Residents will discuss gardening methods at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Historical Society

The Fairfield Historical Society will meet at 6:30 Thursday, Feb. 6. All community members welcome.

Games at 11 a.m. Wednesdays. A resource will be available.

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

Patrons may bring their smartphone or tablet to the library for individual training at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays. Learn the basics of the device and ask questions.

Homework Help

Students in kindergarten through sixth grade may partner with teen volunteers at weekly sessions at 4 p.m. Tuesdays through May 26. Teens willing to assist students with their homework should fill out and hand in the Homework Help Volunteer Form located on the “Teen Events” page of the library’s website.

Book Babies (Babies & Toddlers)

Songs, rhymes and stories at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays.

Pre-K Storytime (3-5 years)

Songs, stories and activities to encourage learning and literacy in preschoolers at 2 p.m. Mondays and 4 p.m. Thursdays. No registration is required.

Evening Storytime (Pre-K+)

Songs, stories and activities to encourage learning and literacy in preschoolers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Teen Volunteer Opportunity

Earn volunteer hours to fulfill community service requirements at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. Registration required.
