Brenda’s Chocolate Chip Cookies with Pecans and Cranberries – TAPinto.net

NUTLEY, NJ – Drop cookies are holiday favorites because they are so easy. 

Ingredients:

Measure all of your ingredients first, and have them assembled on your workspace.

2 1/4 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup butter

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

2 cups chocolate chips

Raw cranberries and pecans to taste

Method: 

Heat oven to 375

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, mix well to insure the baking soda is evenly distributed otherwise your cookies will bake unevenly.

In a separate large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar, add the vanilla, and add the eggs. The eggs combine easier if they’ve been whisked in a separate bowl.

Slowly combine the flour mixture into the wet ingredients. Then stir in the chocolate chips. 

Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and add one or two cranberries and pecans per cookie

Bake 8-10 minutes

Enjoy.. approx 5 dozen
