Historic House Tour In Essex County: Holiday Displays For 2019 – Livingston, NJ Patch

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An annual “Historic Holiday House Tour” in Essex County is returning for 2019.

More than a dozen historic sites throughout the county will be welcoming the public to take a self-guided tour on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, decking out the premises with holiday-themed displays. Many of the events are free or by donation, and each will have an attraction such as music, refreshments or educational programs.

See the full list below.

“The Holiday House Tour is a great example of organizations throughout the county pooling their resources to create a wonderful event for families to enjoy and to provide insight into how past holidays were celebrated,” Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. said. “Take a break from the hustle and bustle this December and visit local homes and landmarks that will have decked the halls in holiday extravagance for one spectacular weekend.”
