Wendy Williams returned from a 5-week hiatus, and had lots of tea to spill — including a new man – NJ.com
Wendy Williams is back, and she has stories.
The New Jersey native who made headlines for her messy split from husband Kevin Hunter this past spring was back on her show on Monday after a five-week layoff, and she had lots to talk about.
Williams, who grew up in Ocean Township and until recently lived in Livingston, teared up nearly as soon as she walked onto the set before thanking the audience and proclaiming, “let’s get started, I’m the hot topic.”
According to Jezebel, Williams then talked about how she spent her hiatus in a segment called “Wendy’s Hot Summer.” Her stories ranged from lunch with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner to being in the New York City Pride Parade. But the biggest revelation of all was about Williams’ love life, as she denied being involved with 27-year-old Marc Tomblin, despite being photographed with him in June. She did admit that she is seeing someone, though. The man is apparently a doctor in his 50′s with children in their 20′s.
“I’m not in love,” Williams said. “But there’s somebody that I’m crazy about. …And yes, he’s black. I know you’re wondering.”
Williams also slammed the supermarket tabloid Globe for a cover story on her divorce, calling it inaccurate but not explaining much.
“My family is doing fine, and I am doing fine,” Williams said.
Williams was hospitalized after being found drunk hours after her husband’s alleged mistress gave birth back in March. Her son, Kevin Jr., was reportedly arrested a few weeks ago after allegedly punching his father in the face in Essex County. On the bright side, it was announced in June that she will be getting a star on the Walk of Fame in 2020.
