West Orange Independence Day 2019: Find Fireworks Shows – West Orange, NJ Patch

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Find out where to see some nearby fireworks for Independence Day 2019 if you live in West Orange. Patch will update this article if more events/info becomes available.

The West Orange Recreation Department will hold its Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4 at West Orange High School, 655 Pleasant Valley Way. (Learn more here)

The celebration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with children’s activities. Fireworks will begin at dusk. Participants can bring blankets, but not chairs.

The rain date is Saturday, July 6.

The town’s 3rd annual food truck festival is also taking place on July 4. That event takes place from 3 to 9 p.m. at the West Orange High School soccer and baseball fields.

OTHER ESSEX COUNTY FIREWORKS

As part of its 2018 Essex County Free Summer Music Concert Series, the county will host three concert/fireworks spectaculars at Branch Brook Park, Weequahic Park and Brookdale Park. (Learn more here)

Those events include:

  • Friday, June 28 at Branch Brook Park, Heller Parkway, Newark – New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Fireworks Spectacular, 7:30 p.m.
  • Monday, July 1 at Weequahic Park, Newark – Total Soul, 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 3 at Brookdale Park, Bloomfield/Montclair – New Power Soul, 7:30 p.m.
