Attention Parents of children 15 and older – Summer Employment Opportunity – 2019

Your child can serve the community while gaining valuable experience as a Millburn Pool Lifeguard.

Must be 15 or older and complete a Lifeguard Certification Course. Guards usually work 3-5 days per week (preferences to those who can work 4-5 days/week).

Pay is $9.25 to $10.25 per hr. depending on experience & .25 cents more an hour if certified as a Water Safety Instructor. Guard uniform and shirts provided. New & returning Guards must submit a 2018 application.

It is best if you complete the application, scan it and email it to npetrilli@millburntwp.org

Interviews will be held on Saturday March 2nd, at 2:00PM at the Gero Park Recreation Center. If you sign up for a certification course, bring that information to the interview.

If your child was a first year lifeguard in 2018, they do not need to be recertified until 2020. If your child was a first year lifeguard in 2017, they must take a “Recertification Course” in 2019.
