Bloomfield Township’s Annual MLK Day Observance Program is Monday – TAPinto.net

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents and local officials will hold a celebration of Martin Luther King Day and the Reverend’s legacy on Monday, Jan. 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Presbyterian Church on the Green.

The theme of the service is “A Knock at Midnight: a Community Answers,” and will feature remarks from clergy leaders, elected officials, including Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, and residents.

Additionally, Dr. Djanna Hill-Tall and Steven and Lorajean Tice will be honored for their exceptional service to the community. Rev. Ruth Boling of Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green will be giving the Keynote remarks.
