Bloomfield Holiday Tree Lighting to Kick Off Martin Luther King Day of Service Food Drive – TAPinto.net
BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The community is kicking off the Martin Luther King Day of Service with a six-week Holiday Food Drive at the ‘Bloomfield Holiday Tree Lighting’ on December 3.
Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food such as peanut butter, canned meats and tuna, canned soup and boxed cereal to this annual event.
Everyone will be able to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, caroling by the Bloomfield High School Concert Choir and the Bloomfield Girls and Boy Scouts, along with a special appearance by Santa himself.
Bloomfield will kick off the holiday season starting at 6:30 p.m. at Municipal Plaza (Town Hall)
