UPDATED RESULTS: 2018 Bloomfield Board Of Education Election – Bloomfield, NJ Patch
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents hit the voting booths on Tuesday, Nov. 6 to make their voices heard in the 2018 General Election. Polls were open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In Bloomfield, voters chose Board of Education members. There was also a Town Council member at-large seat for an unexpired term up for grabs. Check back here for updates.
BLOOMFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION (3 seats, 3-year term)
With 32 of 35 districts reporting, here are the unofficial results, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office:
- Michael Heller – 4821 (19.89%)
- Ralph Walker – 3977 (16.41%)
- Shane Berger – 3449 (14.23%)
- Jody Polidoro – 3064 (12.64%)
- Dick Wolfe – 2952 (12.18%)
- Julien Maculan – 2681 (11.06%)
- Daniel Anderson – 1644 (6.78%)
- Laura Izurieta – 1597 (6.59%)
BLOOMFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION (1 seat, 1-year unexpired term)
With 32 of 35 districts reporting, here are the unofficial results, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office:
- Benjamin Morse – 3265 (58.12%)
- Bryan Crawley – 2341 (41.67%)
COUNCIL MEMBER AT-LARGE (1 seat, unexpired term)
With 32 of 35 districts reporting, Democrat Richard Rockwell, running unopposed, has likely claimed an unexpired term on the Bloomfield Board of Education.
Here are the unofficial results, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office:
- Richard Rockwell (Democrat) – 10496 (99.6%)
- Write-In – 42 (0.4%)
