Montclair Pantry: Bloomfield Temple Donates 100 Thanksgiving Pies

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A Bloomfield temple recently showed true holiday spirit with a donation to the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair, the nonprofit’s staff said.

According to a Monday social media post from the pantry, which services the nearby Essex County area, the donation from Bloomfield-based Temple Ner Tamid was a “true example of the spirit of giving.”

The nonprofit wrote:

“In addition to the monthly food drives and all the other things they do for us, they baked over 100 homemade pies, boxed each one in a decorative box done by the children and delivered them to us for our clients! Think about the time and energy they spent making Thanksgiving a little more special for the people we serve! Thank you Temple Ner Tamid for this thoughtful (and delicious) gift… Happy Thanksgiving to all!”
