The “Best Nutley Farmers Market Season to Date” Isn’t Over Yet
NUTLEY, NJ – With two Sundays left in the season, the Greenutley Farmers Market ending the best season yet with special events, live music, recycling and pumpkins.
Sunday October 21 is Rigid Plastic Recycling Day and Hanger Recycling Day (metal, plastic, wood) . For Rigid Plastic Recycling Day (garbage cans, resin lawn furniture, laundry baskets. children’s outdoor play units) bring items to Muni Lot 7 (enter at Bella Luce) for recycling.
Farmer George will be at the market starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until market close at 2 p.m. with fall fruits and vegetables. Nutley residents with the Essex County Market vouchers are reminded that they have to use them either this Sunday or the following Sunday (Oct. 28) as they expire. The township bus will be picking up seniors at the senior housing facilities.
Farmer George proclaimed the 2018 season the best so far. According to Meredith Blank of the Greenutley Committee, he has already confirmed his participation in the market for 2019.
