Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Sponsors Citizens and Clergy Academy, Oct. 4

NEWARK, NJ — Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II announced Monday that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office will host its Fall 2018 Citizens and Clergy Academy, a six-week training program for members of the community.

The Citizens and Clergy Academy is a training program designed to familiarize clergy and other members of the community with the day-to-day operations of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings, starting October 4^th and will run through November 15^th. The classes begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

Classes, which are open to anyone 18 years old or older, will be held at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, which is located at 50 West Market Street, 3^rd Floor, Newark, NJ. A certificate will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the course at the graduation ceremony.
