Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Sponsors Citizens and Clergy Academy, Oct. 4
NEWARK, NJ — Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II announced Monday that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office will host its Fall 2018 Citizens and Clergy Academy, a six-week training program for members of the community.
The Citizens and Clergy Academy is a training program designed to familiarize clergy and other members of the community with the day-to-day operations of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings, starting October 4th and will run through November 15th. The classes begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
Classes, which are open to anyone 18 years old or older, will be held at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, which is located at 50 West Market Street, 3rd Floor, Newark, NJ. A certificate will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the course at the graduation ceremony.
