Bloomfield Man Shot in Early Hours of Wednesday

PATERSON, NJ- A call of shots fired and the report of victim arriving at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds set off an investigation of an shooting that occured in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, the incident occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. in the area of Ellison Street. The victim, a 27-year old Bloomfield man, was, according to law enforcement, sitting in a vehicle when he was shot.
