Solicitor in Short Hills Found to Have Outstanding Criminal Warrants in Four NJ Towns
On August 22, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to The Mall at Short Hills on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports the theft of a Mac Book Pro and Beats headphones valued at $2198.95 from his 2008 BMW 528 parked in A lot between 5:35-7:45 pm. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On August 22, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sunglass Hut personnel report a Hispanic male wearing a blue/grey long sleeve shirt, blue shorts, and black/white sneakers took a pair of sunglasses valued at $420.00, concealed them in his shirt, and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On August 22, 2018 Millburn Police Officers Royce and Lanni responded to the Paramus Police Department on a warrant arrest. Stacie Dennis, age 40 of Dover, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
On August 23, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2009 BMW 335 on Millburn/Main for an inoperable light. The investigation led to the arrest of 18 year old Jakob Barr of Rutherford and 18 year old Lorenzo Duvergne of Maplewood for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were released on a summons.
On August 23, 2018 Millburn Police Officers Royce and Aliotta responded to the Paramus Police Department on a warrant arrest. Jihad Odeh, age 27 of Clifton, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal and traffic warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
On August 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to a Cypress St residence on a theft report. The victim reports the theft of 2 of her children’s mountain bicycles colors green and blue from the front yard within the last two days. The bicycles are valued at $511.97. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On August 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to White Oak Ridge Rd on a report of a solicitor. Antonio Johnson, age 35 of St. Louis, was located and found to have outstanding criminal warrants out of Riverdale, Florham Park, Rumson, and Madison. Mr. Johnson was issued a summons and released with new court dates.
On August 25, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2015 Honda Civic on Millburn/Main for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 32 year old Priscilla Gomez of Jersey City and 39 year old Nathia Garraway of Brooklyn for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were issued a summons and released.
On August 25, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to the Hudson County Jail on a warrant arrest. Valerie Fields, age 47 of Irvington, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
On August 27, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to a Silver Spring Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2011 Ford Flex in the driveway and took $4.00 in change and a pair of sunglasses. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On August 27, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to the mall on a report of a shoplifter who fled toward the bus stop. Dashon Kirby, age 33 of Elizabeth, was located on Fineran Way and placed under arrest for taking a handbag valued at $1850.00 from Burberry, and 2 handbags from Macys valued at $376.00 without making payment. Mr. Kirby was issued a summons and released.
