Roof Peeled from Box Truck After Making Contact with NJ Transit Rail Bridge in Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – A box truck traveling on Belleville Ave made contact with the NJ Transit Bridge. The incident happened near Spruce St. in the section of Belleville Ave. between Broad Street and JFK. 

The roof of the truck was completely sheered off. 

Officers from the Bloomfield Police Department closed the area to traffic and the Bloomfield Fire Department responded to the scene. 

No injuries were reported.
