Morgan’s Farm Celebrates Farm Day on August 11

CEDAR GROVE, NJ – Morgan’s Farm will celebrate Farm Day on August 11 from 12 to 3 p.m., featuring a petting zoo, pony rides, lawn games and more.

The Cedar Grove Historical Society’s Farm Day celebration includes a chef’s cooking demonstration using the farm’s fresh produce and tours of the Morgan Museum.  For the kids, The Friendly Farmyard of Verona will provide a petting zoo with goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, bunnies and horses, as well as pony rides.  In addition, there will be lawn games, and free ice cream, popcorn and lemonade.  Visitors can also take tours of the farm’s organic gardens.  

The Farm Stand will be open selling fresh produce and local honey.
