Local South Orange Retailer Joins the Fight Against Plastic Straws
SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Sadie’s, the women’s and men’s clothing store located at 65 Valley St. in South Orange, is joining the “no plastic straw” movement and giving out a free reusable metal straw with each purchase over $50 while supplies last.
BACK TO SCHOOL SALES
August also brings several Back to School sales, including $10 off with a purchase of 3 graphic tee shirts and a $25 gift card with purchases of $250 or more.
But that’s not all that is happening at Sadie’s this month. Each month Sadie’s chooses a local charity to donate 1% of their sales to.
AUGUST CHARITY OF THE MONTH: CASA FOR CHILDREN OF ESSEX COUNTY
This month, Sadie’s is joining forces with CASA for Children of Essex County. There are nearly 1,500 children in Essex County’s foster care system who need volunteers to speak up for them.
CASA for Children of Essex County has a free information session to learn how CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Volunteer Advocates speak up for Essex County’s abused and neglected children, the role of a CASA Volunteer Advocate, to hear from current CASA advocates about their experience, and to meet with CASA staff to answer questions.
To help change the life of a vulnerable child by becoming a CASA Volunteer Advocate, RSVP here: http://tinyurl.com/CASAEssex
