The Palm Beach Police Department has issued an alert about potential traffic congestion in the area of the Royal Park (Middle) Bridge from 6 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Capt. Will Rothrock said a car commercial being filmed on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach is likely to impact traffic on the bridge.

The department is urging motorists to consider using the Flagler (North) Bridge and the Southern Bridge as alternatives.
