Woman found dead along Barnegat Branch Trail has been identified – wobm.com
The woman who was found dead along the Barnegat Branch Trail in the Waretown section of Ocean Township last week has been identified as the investigation continues today.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a statement that the woman has been positively identified as Megan Campana, 41, whose last known address was in Seaside Heights.
The Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office performed a post-mortem examination which led to the proper identification.
Prosecutor Billhimer said that the cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results.
