N.J. weather: Snow totals start piling up, with 6 to 7 inches reported in 3 counties – NJ.com
UPDATED SNOWFALL TOTALS FROM SUNDAY’S STORM
In some parts of New Jersey, folks on social media have been asking, “Where’s the snow?”
But in other areas of the state, snow has been falling steadily — and heavy at times — since Sunday morning. It had piled up to a half-foot or more by the early afternoon, according to preliminary snowfall reports compiled by the National Weather Service.
Most areas of South Jersey and the Jersey Shore have seen little snow as warmer air has brought in mostly rain.
These are the highest snowfall totals reported so far during this fast-moving coastal storm. This list will be updated later Sunday afternoon, after more reports come in.
