4/11 – At 1343 hours a report was taken for a theft of a wallet from a motor vehicle. The incident occurred on 3/31 at approximately 2315 hours when the victim entered a business on River Road, leaving the wallet in an unlocked vehicle. The wallet was described as a dark brown bi-fold wallet andcontained personal documents including a driver’s license, socialsecurity card and credit cards, as well as approximately $70.00 cash. Total value of the stolen items was approximately $70.00.

4/12 – At 1810 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Weaver Street residence. The victim reported a cable box, wires and house keys were removed from the residence. At the time of the report, the value of the cable box and wires were unknown.

4/14 – Jesus M. Diaz, 49, of Newark was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. Mr. Diaz was able to post bail and was released with a new court date after being processed.

4/14 – At 1430 hours a report was taken for a theft of an engagement ring from an Eggers Court residence. The theft occurred sometime between February and March 2018. The victim described the engagement ring as a 14-karat white gold ring, with diamond around the band. The value of the ring was $19,300.00.

4/16 – Joseph Jakaj, 23, of Clinton was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Jakaj was processed and released with a pending court date.

4/17 – Heliana Mora, 43, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Elizabeth. Ms. Mora was processed and released with a pending court date.

4/18 – Allan J. Pearson, 52, of Summit was arrested and charged with defiant trespass. Mr. Pearson was processed and transported to the Union County Jail where custody was turned over to their officers.

4/18 – At 0918 hours a report was taken for a theft of one (1) pair of gold earrings and an antique World War II .25 Revolver from a Springfield Avenue residence. The victim reported the value of the stolen items was approximately $1,000.00.

4/18 – At 1912 hours a report was taken for a theft of a scooter from a Sayre Street residence. The victim described the scooter as a green scooter with black wheels, a white basket with painted flowers on it and a silver bell. The theft was believed to have occurred between 1000 hours on 4/17 and 1900 hours on 4/18. The value of the scooter was approximately $85.00.

4/19 – Diomedes V. Castillo, 24, of Scotch Plains was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a contempt of court warrant out of Lincoln Park, use of paraphernalia in a motor vehicle, possession of CDS. Mr. Castillo was processed and subsequently turned over to Lincoln Park Police Department.

4/20 – Jose A. Acosta-Ochoa, 44, of Montville was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Morris County and a contempt of court warrant out of Montville. Mr. Acosta-Ochoa was transported to the Morris County Jail where custody was turned over to their officers.

4/20 – Lensky E. Louis-Jean, 29, of Bound Brook, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Essex County. Mr. Louis-Jean was transported to the Essex County Jail where custody was turned over to their officers.

4/21 – Patricia Silva, 44, of Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault. Ms. Silva was released with a pending court date.

4/23 – Denise A. Zuchowski, 42, of Ridgway, Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of CDS, use of paraphernalia in a motor vehicle, and endangering the welfare of a child. Ms. Zuchowski was processed and released with a pending court date.

4/25 – Jacob L. Freudberg, 18, of Springfield was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and use of paraphernalia. Mr. Freudberg was processed and released with a pending court date.
