MONTCLAIR, NJ – As part of Montclair Literary Festival’s season of rich programming, they will bring together Jane Fonda and Chelsea Clinton to Fonda’s book What Can I Do My Path from Climate Despair to Action today (Friday, December 4) at 8 pm (EST). A Q & A will follow.
In order to participate, guests are asked to register.The process is slightly different if you are using a phone or iPad and you may be prompted to download the Crowdcast app.
The event will be recorded and available to registered attendees only to view after the event ends via the same registration link.
“We are thrilled to welcome actress, activist, author, and icon Ms. Fonda along with healthcare advocate and author Ms. Clinton to Succeed2gether’s Montclair Literary Festival kick-off event,” said Festival Director, Jacqueline Mroz. “It’s exciting to have such high-profile writers and activists speaking in Montclair.”
Tickets are $35 and include a copy of Jane Fonda's latest book, What Can I Do? My Path from Climate Despair to Action, entrance to the online event, and a $10 gift certificate for Amanti Vino in Montclair and Morristown (with a wine purchase of $30 or more, see ticket link for other terms and conditions). For $65 you also receive a copy of Hillary Rodham Clinton & Chelsea Clinton's The Book of Gutsy Women, and for $150, you receive signed copies of both books. The 2020 Succeed2gether’s Montclair Literary Festival was to have taken place from March 25 to 29, 2020, with over 130 authors in more than 50 events and an expected audience of more than 3,500 people. With the outbreak of the pandemic, the festival day was postponed to September with headline authors, including Erik Larson, Colum McCann, Paul Krugman, Nicholas Kristof, Madeline Miller, Mo Rocca and others, presented as online events from May to July.
