Impact of remote learning on low-income students of color highlighted by survey – NJ Spotlight

A new poll shows that parents across New Jersey are worried that remote education is causing their children to fall into an achievement gap. The concern over falling behind is especially strong among low-income families and ones of color.

Parents continue to be concerned that their children will contract COVID-19. But as more districts across the state detect in-school cases of the disease, many parents still don’t want their kids to go to all-remote instruction. Correspondent Joanna Gagis reports.
