Latinx Civil Rights Movements in the U.S. Joining her is Rosa Clemente, who will speak on community activism’s power and watch a spoken word performance by Porta Rock, a Latinx poet.

Rosa Clemente is a Black-Puerto Rican woman born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She is an organizer, political commentator, and independent journalist and is recognized as being one of her generation’s leading scholars of Afro-Latinx identity.
